Whanganui Gynaecology
Kia Ora, My name is Dr Paul Canning. I am an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. I offer general gynaecology with a special interest in pelvic pain, endometriosis and minimally invasive surgery.
After completing my training in O&G I have returned to Whanganui to set up my permanent practice.
I provide a compassionate and empathic service, listening to your concerns and together formulating a management plan. I strive to have open, easy communication and ensure you are fully informed with the latest medical research.
I offer both medical and surgical options for the management of all common gynaecological conditions. In addition I have a special interest in minimally invasive surgery (“key-hole surgery”), the treatment of endometriosis and management of pelvic pain.
I offer outpatient appointments in my rooms at Campbell House and I operate at Belverdale Hospital for surgical procedures.
